What is UltraFormer MPT?

Ultraformer MPT is a non-invasive lifting and suspending treatment for the face and other body areas. It is an improved evolution of HIFU (High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound), as it also uses ultrasonic technology to achieve skin lifting effects.

It harnesses the body's natural regenerative ability to lift, tighten, and contour the face and body, then through advanced skincare methods targeting multiple skin layers, stimulates collagen production to make results more lasting.

The SMAS layer is the skin layer located about 4.5mm beneath the facial skin surface. This is the same layer that traditional facelift surgery addresses. It is like the steel reinforcement framework of a building — it primarily governs our skin's firmness and elasticity. Therefore, once this fascia layer becomes loose or aged, our skin surface and facial contours will also sag and droop. The new Ultraformer MPT offers a wide range of treatment options, covering almost anyone concerned about skin laxity, fine lines, wrinkles, dullness, or other skin quality issues.

How soon will I see results? +

Your skin may show noticeable improvement immediately after treatment. As the collagen regeneration process continues, your skin will keep improving over time, with optimal results visible around 3 months post-treatment.

How long do results last? +

For clients who have never had HIFU before, we recommend 2–3 sessions per year (depending on individual circumstances). Each session should be spaced 3 months apart. After completing the first year's treatments, results can last approximately 12 months. From the second year onwards, 1–2 maintenance sessions can be done to sustain and consolidate results.

Is there a recovery period? +

Since HIFU high-energy focused ultrasound is a non-invasive treatment, there is typically no downtime. After the HIFU lifting treatment, you may only experience temporary mild redness, slight swelling, or mild soreness in certain areas. You can apply makeup immediately and resume normal daily activities.

Can pregnant or breastfeeding women receive this treatment? +

Although the Ultraformer MPT treatment is a non-invasive aesthetic procedure, its ultrasound depth can still reach the fascia layer, penetrating deep into the skin. While this does not cause any serious surface effects on the body, it cannot be 100% guaranteed to have no impact on a developing fetus or nursing infant. Therefore, for the healthy development of the fetus and the well-being of the infant, it is recommended that pregnant and breastfeeding women avoid the Ultraformer MPT treatment. If treatment is absolutely necessary, please consult your doctor's professional opinion first.

Those who have recently undergone invasive aesthetic procedures +

Before receiving the Ultraformer MPT treatment, please consider whether you have recently undergone any invasive aesthetic procedures. If so, the Ultraformer MPT treatment is not suitable. This is because invasive aesthetic procedures generally require a longer recovery period. If the Ultraformer MPT treatment is performed before the skin tissue has fully recovered, it may easily over-stimulate the skin and cause adverse effects. Injectable aesthetic procedures such as Botox, hyaluronic acid, and thread lifts are all considered invasive (perform Ultraformer MPT first and wait 3 months before invasive procedures, or wait 3–6 months after invasive procedures before Ultraformer MPT).

Patients with skin conditions such as rosacea, eczema, or chronic dermatitis should also consult a dermatologist or therapist before receiving the Ultraformer MPT treatment to determine if it is suitable for them. Although the Ultraformer MPT treatment is a non-invasive skin tightening procedure, its energy penetrates deep into the fascia and dermis layers, which may affect skin stability to some extent. Additionally, the treatment also heats the skin tissue, which may cause some degree of skin irritation. Furthermore, the skin of patients with skin conditions is inherently more fragile and unstable, making it more susceptible to external stimuli that could worsen their condition.
