What is DPL Super Photon?
Photon skin rejuvenation primarily works to clear facial imperfections, including uneven skin tone, dullness, acne marks, enlarged pores, simple facial redness, blackheads, rough texture, and lack of collagen. These all fall under facial imperfections. The photon energy breaks down these imperfections, causing them to dissipate, while various cells undergo rapid transformation, resulting in improved skin texture — this is what photon skin rejuvenation is all about.
First, it's not a device — it's a technology. Its full name is Delicate Pulsed Light, and it represents the seventh generation of photon technology.
The fifth generation was OPT, the sixth generation was AOPT, and the seventh generation is DPL.
Its biggest difference from other technologies is the compression and filtering of the light spectrum. It filters out wavelengths absorbed by tissues we consider non-target, and filters out wavelengths that cause client discomfort. After compressing the remaining useful light, theoretically it delivers seven times the effect of other photon technologies, and in practical application achieves three to five times the effect of other light-based devices.
How DPL Skin Rejuvenation Works
DPL's proprietary 550-650nm narrow-spectrum light simultaneously produces photothermal and photochemical effects. The photothermal effect causes partial coagulation of aged and immature collagen in the dermis, thereby stimulating fibroblast activity and promoting massive new collagen production beneath the skin.
The photochemical effect reorganizes deep collagen and elastin fibers, restoring skin elasticity, enhancing vascular function and skin metabolism, leaving skin supple, refined, and resilient — achieving precise skin rejuvenation results.
"DPL Precision Rejuvenation" uses a 100nm精选 spectrum — one DPL treatment is equivalent to at least 5-10 regular IPL sessions. By filtering out useless杂色 spectrum, DPL delivers more efficient treatment with faster results. Significant improvements can be seen after just 1-2 sessions, presenting your best skin state in the shortest time!

What's the difference between IPL and DPL? +

Who is DPL treatment for? +
- Rough facial skin, dullness, enlarged pores, acne marks.
- Facial skin showing signs of laxity, fine lines, or aging.
- Anyone looking to improve skin texture, restore elasticity, radiance, and brightness.
Who should avoid DPL treatment? +
- Patients with major health conditions: high blood pressure, high cholesterol, diabetes, heart disease, epilepsy.
- Photosensitive individuals, those with drug-induced photosensitivity, or currently taking photosensitizing medications (e.g., isotretinoin), or with a history of scarring.
- Active herpes or skin lesions.
- Pregnant or breastfeeding women.
- Those who have had micro-injections within 3 months, recent or planned sun exposure.
- Those taking anticoagulant medications.
- Individuals with skin tones similar to the treatment chromophore.
- Recently sun-exposed skin.
Post-treatment care +
- Apply medical cold compress masks immediately after treatment. Use twice daily for the first 3 days, then once daily for a week. Best stored in the refrigerator before use.
- Avoid hot water on treated areas for 24 hours. No saunas, steam rooms, or swimming for 7 days.
- Apply sunscreen, or use physical sun protection.
- Avoid spicy foods, seafood, alcohol, and stimulating foods for 7 days.
When is post-treatment darkening more likely? +
- Melasma: When melasma is in an active phase, photon treatment can irritate subcutaneous melanin, potentially triggering latent melasma and causing darkening.
- Skin inflammation: Existing inflammation or skin damage, such as acne or sensitivity, increases the probability of post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation.
- Age: As skin ages, its regenerative and metabolic functions decline, increasing the likelihood of darkening.
- Sun exposure: Significant sun exposure within a month before treatment greatly increases the risk of post-treatment darkening.
- Inadequate aftercare: Poor post-treatment care, especially insufficient hydration and sun protection, can stimulate melanin production and lead to hyperpigmentation.
